I, like many, was insulted when some jack booted recruitment officer from the Manchester Constabulary rejected a recruit because he had “England” tattooed on his arm. In order to report this fascist, I decided to write to the CRE’s Trevor

Guess what? The CRE has been replaced by something called the “Equalities and Human Rights Commission”. So, as a human looking for equality, I decided to drop them a quick email asking if they could put a stop to this nonsense. They have three email addresses, namely…
wales@equalityhumanrights.com
scotland@equalityhumanrights.com
and
info@equalityhumanrights.com
…there are many, many other examples, but for some reason this one just sapped my strength.

Their England email address is englandhelpdesk@equalityhumanrights.com - it's not advertised anywhere but I was given it today when I chased up my complaint which they have no record of.
Interesting that they no longer have a .gov.uk email address - is that to try and make them look independent or has it all been privatised? Which has been given some similar powers to Trading Standards for taking legal action against companies. There's a similar situation with the RSPCA. It's privatised government - very Common Purpose.
England helpdesk? Wow, I take it back
